The vehicle laden with gas cylinder that exploded at Fagba,Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State on August 31st 2020 which claimed about 3 lives which 10 others were left injured and many properties got destroyed.
According to Com.Wale Fajuyi,a resident of the area,we have not receive any information from the Government but the owner of the Gas Station gave the affected people Ten thousand Naira each.
He added,”I don’t understand what this money is meant for after the gridlock has damaged an events centre,a church,a building was completely brought down among others and the casualties are still in Fagba General Hospital receiving treatment”.
Therefore, after this occurrence,the gas plant was sealed by Lagos State Government but information getting to us today is that the plant will be open next week for full transaction.
We urge the Federal Government to intervene in this matter because we are in serious pain over our lost properties.
